CHINESE MYTHOS
It is another illustration from my series of the Chinese mythos--NUWA.
She was a goddess, created the human by using the clay, and taught them how to raise up seed.
Some day, two sons of the deity fight for heirdom, the loser staved the sky...the doomsday was coming...
For repairing the sky, Nuwa cut off the legs from a huge tortoise to shore up the sky (thence, all tortoise had short legs), and smelted the color stone to fill up the hole of the sky...
